Emissions testing
ACDC has met the ACT Government’s RG240 high standard for emissions testing.
We conduct IM-240 and DT 80 drive-cycle emissions testing for vehicles with standard or modified engines and ancillaries to meet ADR –Australian Design Rule– compliance.
Your certifying engineer will use our emissions testing results to confirm your vehicle meets the ADR’s that apply to your vehicle. Our testing regime is fully auditable using the most sophisticated equipment that is regularly calibrated providing repeatable results.
ACDC takes great pride in being the only emissions testing provider in the ACT. Gaining ACT Government testing status is no mean feat and is testament to the quality results ACDC provide.
Emissions testing takes approximately half a day. Once completed we will provide you with comprehensive results to take to your certifying engineer showing the vehicle meets the required ADR compliance.

Don and his team are great mechanics. After the manufacturer for my car failed to address a recurring issue I found ACDC. They identified the problem and we’re able to fix it immediately and provide advice for on-going management. They also consulted on the repair and price options.
These are real, old school mechanics who truely know and care about cars, service and people. Not just mass production people working from a manual and ticking boxes.
